How does “search area” work on the Mega-Mall page?
The search area is the distance surrounding the “suburb” name that you have selected. For example, a "search area" of 5km, will display results in a 5km radius circling the particular suburb you selected.
 

Once I have registered what happens?
Now that you have registered ( Businesses Get In and Customers Get On ) you will have a username and password. When you log in using your Username and Password (bottom left hand side of the home page), you will be fully active in the Buyblitz website.
 

What does fully active mean?
This means customers will be able to receive specials from selected retailers via e-mail, print gift certificates and pay for them on line, print discount vouchers, order on-line from retailers and make restaurant reservations. (Some retailers may not offer all features.) Businesses will be able to make changes to their shopfronts and operate their shopfronts automatically.
 

If I am not registered can I still move around the Buyblitz website?
Yes absolutely! You can navigate the entire Buyblitz website, however you cannot access useful features such as e-commerce facilities and other benefits offered by retailers.
  

Can I participate in any competitions or special offers if I am not registered?
Unfortunately no. Only registered customers are eligible to participate in any competitions or special offers.
 

Is my personal information secure?
Yes. Your personal information is encrypted to protect it from access by unauthorized persons.
We have confidence in our state of the art encryption methods.

Is my credit card information secure? (Businesses)
Yes. All credit card information given by you to us is processed through PayPal,
the global leader in online payments.

Is my credit card information secure? (Customers)
Yes. When you place an order with any particular business within the Buyblitz Mega-Mall, that chosen business is the only entity that will have access to your credit card details. At the time of placing the order, that chosen business will be sent an e-mail informing them that an order has been placed. That chosen business will then have to log-in to its website/shopfront (using its password) in order to obtain your order and credit card details and finalize the transaction. Buyblitz will not access your credit card details.

When I select e-mail alerts from a business or reataurant, do they know my identity?
No. The business will know the total number of e-mail subscribers they have, but they will not know their e-mail addresses or identity.
 

When I “book on-line” with a restaurant, does the restaurant know my identity?
Yes. The restaurant needs to know your contact details, in order to confirm your reservation.

What if I have a problem with a business I have ordered from or a customer who has ordered from me?
Buyblitz facilitates transactions between retailers and customers, but we are not involved in the actual transactions. You must attempt to resolve any dispute with the relevant retailer or customer yourself and, if necessary, seek assistance from relevant authorities or professional advisers. Please do let us know if you remain dissatisfied after endeavouring to resolve a dispute, as we are keen to ensure all users comply with the Terms of Use.
